History
Movement heals. I began Pilates in order to rehab a badly set ankle sprain, and came away with a stronger, more connected body overall. I teach private and group mat and equipment classes, with a focus on alignment and injury rehab. Whether you are looking for pain relief, peak performance, or perfecting your posture, I can help you meet your goals. I am a certified Pilates and CoreAlign instructor through Balanced Body. In my quest to better understand how the body works and moves, I have continued my studies with Pilates elder Mary Bowen, Elizabeth Larkham, Amy Taylor Alpers, Ellie Herman, Joy Karley, Tom McCook, David Weinstock, and Benjamin Degenhart. If you've heard great things about what Pilates does for your body but have hesitated to try, this is the studio for you: private, personalized, & supportive. My studio features a Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and a CoreAlign, allowing me to tailor each session to your body's needs. Discover Pilates -- rediscover yourself!
