History
John Dill introduced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Shasta County in 1994, shortly after moving from Southern California. He had a vision of planting the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seed in his new home, and watching it grow. As he once said everyone was just fumbling around trying to learn various grappling techniques. I wanted to teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu the way I learned it- the right way. Today the seed has grown into Amazonas Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
