Aftercare Program
The Aftercare Research Program is offered by the Center for Neurocognition and Emotion in Schizophrenia, which is a multidisciplinary institute that conducts research studies on human behavior and mental disorders. The Aftercare Research Program is an outpatient research clinic that provides a clinical site for the recruitment, pharmacological and psychosocial interventions and assessment of symptoms and functional outcomes for first-episode patients. It also offers free treatment services for patients who participate in center s research work. The clinic provides a centralized and standardized process for screening and diagnosing schizophrenia patient participants. In addition, the program includes individual case management, group therapy and antipsychotic medication services.
