Jordan High School
David Starr Jordan High School is affiliated with the Long Beach Unified School District. It offers academic instruction to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. David Starr Jordan High School offers various subjects, including science, math, industrial technology, business education, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, it provides computer graphics, music, and technical and creative writing courses. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as choir, band, drama club, and student council and National Honor Society. It offers a wide range of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, softball, tennis, soccer, wrestling and cheerleading.
