History
The hall was donated and built by the local community for the local community gatherings and rentals. We have on our website a membership form which can be filled out and mailed to the mailing address posted. The yearly fee is only $5.00 per year, per person, and gives us contact information, which we do not share, but you will then be notified regarding upcoming events. We are totally self supporting and receive no tax dollars but rely on volunteers, donations and rental income. The hall and grounds are maintained by a wonderful group of volunteers and are constantly being improved by them as monies are available. Check the website for updates. There is also the Rescue Raceway, which has their own face book and website for information. Mini electric car races are held as per scheduled.
Specialties
We specialize in renting the hall to others for whatever their special occasion might be, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, memorials and other events. We are a meeting place for BSA Troop 700 Rescue Up N' Comin 4-H Club Election site for El Dorado County, CA We are a not for profit, incorporated in 1950, built in 1951 and run by a local enthusiastic board of volunteers, who give generously of their time & labor to keep the hall and grounds appealing for events.
