RecoveryFox was founded in 2013 after the founder (Joe Elgin) discovered how profoundly data recovery can positively impact peoples lives. He found this after recovering thousands of family photographs for a son whose father had passed away. These photographs were among the strongest memories he had of growing up with his father, many of which he had never seen before. In this digital age, memories are often solely stored in virtual form, threatened by loss in many forms. This company was founded on the premise of never having these keepsakes be taken from those who want to cherish them.
