HistoryJois Yoga Encinitas was established in 2010 to teach the traditional Ashtanga Yoga of Pattabhi Jois from Mysore, India. Originally on South Coast Highway, we moved two years ago to our current location and continue to teach the same authentic Mysore Style Ashtanga.SpecialtiesJois Yoga specializes in Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga. We are a traditional Ashtanga Yoga School and teach one on one but in a group environment. Each student is taught individually with great attention to detail and catering to the unique situation of the student. There are Beginners Courses introducing the Ashtanga Mysore Style practice or you can sign up and learn in the Mysore class environment. All of our teachers are trained in India and have many years of experience as practitioners and teachers. We are certified and authorized by the KPJAYI Yoga Institue and Sharath Yoga Centre in Mysore, India.
