History

I have always loved children. As a youngster, I had quite a small business babysitting in my neighborhood, often taken on family vacations to attend their children. As a young married adult, I was a member of Big Brothers & Sisters, And a Cub scout leader of a very active troop, that included my little brother (Travis). When we decided to have children of our own, I changed my profession of 7 yrs in Hardware retail (that help hone my management skills in many levels and areas), to Childcare. I wanted to be home and enjoy my children's young yrs, but knew we need two income so that we someday could afford to buy our own home. I worked with the local YMCA in Helena Montana then transferred to the YMCA in Encinitas CA. I took CPR, first aid, bus driver, and Childcare training and classes. I worked as a before/after school and summer counselor, bus driver transportation, and pool side asst. I moved to Fallbrook in 1986 and applied for my home childcare license. Got my first child 4/1/87.
