History
Years of having worked in weight loss research helped me realize that weight loss extends beyond counting calories and exercise. Success involves a sustainable change in behavior. So, I developed a group program that targets the barriers that interfere in long-term weight management. Weight loss is one of the major deterrents to good health, and I truly enjoy helping others lose weight. Not only to see them reap the health benefits, but to watch them evolve into regular exercisers that are healthy, mindful eaters and more confident individuals. Each person I get to help is potentially someone who might avoid cancer, heart disease or even diabetes. I have a passion for teaching and I enjoy educating others on bettering their health, strength, and outlook. I also believe that weight loss can actually be FUN. So with Q-UP, you'll get the science and education, but ALSO the humor and light-heartedness necessary to improve your health and succeed in long-term weight management.
