History

Founded by the Sisters of Providence. We are a private, co-educational, independent, college preparatory Catholic high school. We are accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a member of the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). PHS initially started as an all-girls school, but in 1974 the campus became co-educational.

Specialties

Students enjoy a full college prep curriculum as well as access to three Focus Programs in the areas of Medical, Cinema Arts, and Technology. Additionally, Providence offers award-winning visual and performing arts, rewarding Christian Service and Campus Ministry opportunities, competitive athletics, summer school, enrichment camps, and numerous clubs and activities.

St Patrick's Catholic School

St. Patrick's Catholic School is an educational institution that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It provides religion education and participates in liturgical events. St. Patrick Catholic School also offers classes in music and physical and computer education. The school maintains a student council and arts and crafts and book clubs. Its athletic activities include volleyball, basketball, football, softball and soccer.
