Poinsettia Elementary is part of the Carlsbad Unified School District serving students grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Thursdays are early dismissal days. Principal Steve Ahle oversees the school. Student's scores have consistently been good at Poinsettia Elementary. After school programs are also offered and there is an active PTA.
