Peninsula Museum of Art was established in 2004. Located in the beautiful historic Manor House, the museum provides a permanent collection, two galleries, an art reference library and a gift shop. Four to five exhibits of important national artists and small gallery visits, as well as artists' workshops are organized throughout the year. Among those whose art has graced the museum's space are Bruce Beasley, Cork Marcheschi, Joe Zirker, Harriet Moore and David Glhooly. Docent tours can be scheduled by request.
The Museum's store offers a selection of unique art by local artists working in ceramics, jewelry and print. The Art Reference Library contains close to one thousand volumes and periodicals and is available during the museum hours. The second floor houses a few resident artists' studios.
Admission is free.
