The Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute (PJCI) is a non-profit organization founded in 1962, dedicated to preserving and promoting Japanese culture and community in the greater Pasadena area. Home to Mirai Nihongo Gakuin, a Japanese language school, as well as various martial arts and cultural groups, PJCI aims to honor the rich history of Japanese-Americans while continuing to evolve and contribute to the community.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, many activities at PJCI are currently on hold or operating at limited capacity. Visitors are advised to contact specific groups for the latest scheduling updates before making any plans.
