Founded in 1971 by Jim Moser, Paul Rea and Bob Collins, Pacific Coast Producers is a cooperative owned by more than 160 grower members in California. The cooperative is a private-label packer of low-cost, high-quality canned fruits, vegetables and related items. Its products include apricots, fruit cocktails, fruit mixes, peaches, pears, tomatoes, fruit and gel cups and canned juices. They are sold in all 50 United States under a variety of labels, including Safeway, Wal-Mart and Kroger s brand names. Pacific Coast Producers has headquarters in Lodi, Calif., and processing facilities in Oroville and Woodland, as well as field stations throughout California.
