History
This is my first business venture. I opened this year around the 5th of August. It wasnt an easy decision kinda scarry. I count my blessings daily because when i start to panic over inventory, things come through the door. Paying it forward has been coming back to me. I pray this will keep going this way, then I can continue to do what Im doing, giving back to my community, getting back from my community, and continue the circle of giving great deals again. So far so good.
Specialties
For the quality of things I have, and keeping prices lower than my competitors, I find my customers leaving pretty happy. I dont want anyone feeling like they didnt get a good deal,so I make sure everyone does. I pay taxes for everyone that spends under 30 dollars and people spend just a third of that to get what they want, so I can honestly say no one pays taxes. For now I can do this because Im not paying credit card fees. They are so expensive. Ide rather have the air conditioner on high power and pay everyones taxes, verses paying the credit card people, at least for now. The drawback is I can only accept cash, checks with ID the same address and Venmo. If I get to many complaints about this, then I will do the credit card thing but then I have to cut back on something els; the rent is very high. I didnt invest in being a thrift shop owner to get rich thats for sure. I just have so much stuff that I just dont want to keep accumilating. Ive drawn the line and just downsizing. I have over 200 pairs of jeans that go back 25 years Ive never given away, just kept, and now its all up for sale. If the rent gets payed and I can help people get a new start, or help the resellers by purchasing things from my store at reasonable prices and everyones happy when they leave, then Ill be a happy camper. No complaints here, and I want the same for you.
