History
Since 1937, Osborne Partners Capital Management, LLC and its predecessors have actively managed diversified, multi-asset class portfolios for families and institutions. The firm was founded as an investment management boutique for sophisticated investors by Jack Stephenson, an early partner with Dodge & Cox, and Phelps Hunter, a Portfolio Manager with Crocker Bank. By successfully transitioning ownership throughout the decades, OPCM has become a well-established multi-asset class manager with $1.6 billion in assets under management (as of 6/30/20). Ownership has evolved from the original two founders to the diverse ownership today, which includes 15 current OPCM employees.

Osborne Partners offers a disciplined approach to managing wealth with an emphasis on diverse, multi-asset class portfolios. Our OPCM Global Portfolio, uses the endowment approach, typically used by major colleges and universities. OPCM portfolios are customized, managed in-house, and allocated across multiple asset classes. These include equities, fixed income, natural resources, REITs, and alternatives assets. Our investment team averages over 25 years of experience, and each has earned a MBA, CFA, or both designations. OPCM presently manages approximately $1.6 billion in assets for clients (as of 6/30/20).
