History
Founded in January 2010, Operation Freedom Paws is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that matches dogs with individuals who have Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Complex-Post Traumatic Stress (CPTS) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) symptoms, or other physical, neurological, psychological or mobility needs. Having moved to a new location in September 2014, Operation Freedom Paws now has a fully licensed Kennel that offers dog day care and boarding to the public. All revenue generated from these services helps to off-set the costs of the service dog program.
Specialties
Our dog public training, daycare and boarding services generate revenue to cover the costs of our non-profit; rescuing dogs from shelters and matching them with veterans and others with disabilities to train and certify as a service dog team. We do not charge for the service dog, we only ask for a commitment of 48-weeks to complete our training program.
