OK Produce has the ability to control the entire ripening process of bananas. This process offers a service to the company s customers that allows them to receive bananas at every ripening stage at any time of the week and year. OK Produce distributes fruits and vegetables to supermarkets and restaurants. Apples, coconuts, figs, limes, oranges, plums, raisins, strawberries and watermelons are among the more than 25 types of fruits the company handles. Alfalfa sprouts, broccoli, garlic, lettuce, mushrooms, okra, onions, spinach and yams account for a portion of the more than 35 vegetable products the company s fleet of trucks distributes. The wholesale distributor was established in 1950 when Charles Matoian agreed to deliver farm fresh produce on a daily basis to retail stores throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
