Ruiz Brothers Construction Co was founded in 1979 by three brothers, Frank E. Ruiz, Oscar R. Ruiz and Ernesto R Ruiz. All three brothers had a common and passionate dream of providing complete building services to the communities of Southern California. In 1982, Oscar Ruiz, one of the founders was killed in a tragic car accident, leaving the other two brothers to carry on the family dream. Since then, Ruiz Brothers Construction Co has become a well established and reputable construction company in the community. The company has also provided services for additions, remodels, earthquake strengthening, as well as the rehabilitation of apartment and commercial buildings. Ruiz, President, graduated in 1968 with Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California of Los Angeles. In 1970, Frank earned a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California. He holds a license as a Professional Engineer in the State of California as well as a General Building Contractors license. Ernesto R. Ruiz, Vice-President, graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the California State University of Los Angeles. In 1974, Ernesto earned a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the California State University of Los Angeles. He also holds a General Engineering Contractors License. Julio A. Padilla, Vice-President, graduated in 1975 with a degree in Architecture from the Ricardo Palma University. During 1975-1980, before joining Ruiz Brothers Construction Co, Julio worked as General Contractor under his own name, specializing in restoration of historical buildings. He also holds a General Building Contractors License.
