History

Occhiali (Montecito) opened in January 1988 by Salli and Irwin Eve. They both attended and met at UCSB. They later studied opthalmic science at a program on the east coast. They returned to Santa Barbara to open their first eyewear boutique 26 years ago. Five years later, they opened their second shop in the downtown area, on 7 W. Canon Perdido.
