During that time I was able to grow as an individual and moved on to becoming a Senior Loan Processor and Office Manager of a small loan company. After doing some market research, I realized that by being a loan officer with a broker, I could offer a wider range of products and offer lower rates compared to the banks. While I enjoyed being a Loan Processor I wanted to further my experience and education by becoming an Underwriter. In 1999, I decided to make a change and become a Loan Officer. I soon realized that I had so much to offer as a Loan Officer from having the processing and underwriting background. I could now shop amongst hundreds of different wholesale lenders for the best rate for my clients plus give them the proper advise on the type of loans that fit their needs. And I chose to work with a broker who is one of the largest, and because of its size, is able to negotiate preferred pricing and service for its client
