This school has a unique Biology/Zoo Magnet school that meet at Griffith Park Zoo and students can work with the animals directly. The back of the school has an agricultural area where plants are cultivated and sent to schools all across the city. There's also a pig.
The school has a variety of special academies, including arts and entertainment, transportation, social justice and other specialized interests. They also have a Highly Gifted program.
There is a dress code. The school colors are blue, white and gray. This is the home of the Huskies.
