Napa Valley Nursery School engages the community. The school is a non-profit organization that started back in 1950 and is a parent-involved answer to preschool. With a cooperative philosophy, the operating moniker is "Together We're Better: children, parents and teachers." Day-to-day operations are run by members, which fosters happy experiences with other families. The curriculum combines play, communication and social skills for self-development. With children having the opportunity to interact with other children, develop physical coordination and motor skills through play, create artwork and experience books and music with quiet time.
