Napa County Office of Education is a local school agency that was established under the constitution of California to perform several educational functions. It has more than 175 employees and serves over 2,400 students each year in a range of programs. The office of education acts as a staff training and curriculum support system for several districts instructional and business functions. It operates career training classes in high schools and child development centers for low-income families. The office offers special education services to infants and preschool children with disabilities, as well as court and community school programs for children who are incarcerated and expelled from the districts schools.
