Murwood Elementary School educates some 400 local K-5 students in the Walnut Creek School District. Murwood has been recognized as a California Distinguished School by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
The Murwood Advisory Council, a school site council made up of six staff members and six parents, helps the principal develop and implement improvements to be made around the school.
