History
Moultrie Academy began with vocal workshops for children and within the first year opened a performing arts studio with classes for all ages in voice, dance, and instruments. After nearly four decades Moultrie Academy has coached more than 16,000 students ranging from 2 - 83 years old. Whether pursuing their love for music or seeking a professional career, Moultrie Academy alumni are world renowned recording artists; stars and featured actors in network television and movies; contestants and grand prize winners of televised talent competitions; Broadway performers and choreographers; entertainers on cruise ships and amusement parks all over the world; and participants in music ministries and theaters throughout California.
Specialties
Serving Claremont and surrounding communities since 1980, with performing arts training taught by master teachers. A performing arts center, Moultrie Academy offers classes and private lessons in voice, acting, ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, piano, guitar, and drums are available to students from age three through adult, and beginners to professionals. The Academy is located in the historic Old School House.
