Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, established in 1966, offers various marine science research and education programs to students. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as ecology, ichthyology, invertebrate zoology, and physical, chemical and biological oceanography. In addition, the laboratory s classes include oceanographic instrumentation, geochemistry, population biology, scientific writing, molecular biological techniques and plate tectonics. The facilities offered by the laboratory include library, museum and weather station. It also offers scholarships, grants and employment services and provides accommodations for students with disabilities. MLML is operated by a consortium of seven California State University campuses, including Fresno, Hayward, Monterey Bay, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose and Stanislaus and is located in Moss Landing, Calif.
