This public library contains over 50,000 books and features a Children's Room, Fiction Room, Periodicals Room, and computers with Internet access. The local history collection of newspaper clippings and pamphelets focuses on Montrose but contains information on Crescenta Valley as well.
Fiction, mystery and biography titles make up the bulk of the adult collection, while the children's collection is strong in picture books, beginning readers, sports, holiday, folklore and countries of the world.
Foreign languge, large type, audio and video titles are also available. Magazines and periodicals are available for checkout, while newspapers are not.
This branch is part of the Glendale Public Library system, and is able to access materials in the Glendale and Pasadena library systems, and the Metropolitan Cooperative Library System.
