History
Established in 1936. Montebello Unified (MUSD) has one of the largest adult school programs in California. Montebello Community Adult School (MCAS), which operates as part of MUSD, was established in 1936. Service to the community started with a few evening classes in the Montebello area. Classes offered at that time were mainly for the purpose of Americanization. Montebello has an established history and commitment to serving the needs of adult learners. Specialties
Montebello Community Adult School equips students by providing free and low-cost career technical education pathway, building and construction, Medical Assisting, Personal Care Aid, Adobe Creative Suites, Food Services, and more), English language learning (ESL), and HiSET (equivalent to GED) courses, so that they may thrive in their community and personal/professional lives.
