History
MVCS, a private Elementary and Middle School, was founded in 1993 as a ministry of Mission Viejo Christian Church in a city which continues to be distinguished as one of the nation's safest cities. The founding pastors and educators were committed to teaching children in a loving, Christ-centered, and academically rigorous environment. Their mission was to educate children so that they may achieve their greatest potential and to fulfill God's purpose in their lives. Our Kindergarten - 8th grades are currently on an 11-acre campus which features spacious classrooms, multiple playgrounds and blacktop areas, an expansive 5-acre field. (Our preschool classes remain located less than a mile away at our Mission Viejo Christian Church site). We are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and certified for international students by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).
