The maintenance on this heat exchanger end cap had been deferred to the point where this required a complete replacement. Very expensive

The engine surveyor reported this as a small leak. My disassembly, and cleaning with a wire brush revealed more.

This is what a boat buyer does not want to discover...after acquisition. This propeller shaft has corrosion damage.
