History
The idea of Mexipinata originated from my daughter Sofia's second birthday. My wife and I wanted to have a fun pinata for a two year old so we started the mission of looking for an authentic pinata around the Bay Area and did not have much luck. We visited multiple stores and found economic pinatas but they were basically a carton box decorated with colored paper. The closest authentic pinatas we found were expensive. We finally purchased a pinata for $32dlls and the quality appeared fine. At the party, everyone had fun trying to hit the pinata except that it was almost impossible to break it and the pinata fell and hurt my daughter's eye (as you can see on the photo). After the incident, I tried to open the pinata and let the candies out for the kids but it was challenging as there were so many staples and wires in the pinata. I realized there was the need to for a kid friendly pinata and knew exactly where to get them! Best, Astor Toyos Owner
