The Mesa Grande Academy, also known as MGA, is an educational institution that provides a range of learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade 12. Founded in 1929, it serves the communities of Yucaipa and Calimesa in Southern California. The academy maintains high, elementary and junior high schools. The Mesa Grande Academy s curriculum includes math, Bible, English, reading, science and social studies. It operates a library that has a collection of books and Internet resources. The academy offers a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball and football. The Mesa Grande Academy organizes parent-teacher conferences that encourage parental involvement in children s education. The academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
