Chef Mattias Blom developed a taste for great cooking at an early age while growing up in Sweden, first by tasting and cooking with his mother in their family kitchen and later as an apprentice at local restaurants as a teenager. For the past 29 years, he has cooked and consulted at well-known restaurants in and around the Santa Barbara area.
