Founded in 1967, Matsui Nursery Inc. is one of the largest potted orchid producers in the world. Based in Salinas, Calif., the company has extensive experience in growing various types of floral crops, including mums, carnations, roses, as well as fresh cut and dried flowers and foliage. Its laboratory has the ability to produce plants in-house. In addition, Matsui Nursery Inc. purchases cloned plants from many sources around the world, including China, Germany, Holland, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.
