Marin Day Schools offers Extended Day Services for on-site care for children enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade at five schools in the Mill Valley School District. A wide variety of activities geared to the interests and abilities of elementary school children are provided in safe, nurturing, home-like environments and are combined with homework support with plenty of time for social interaction. The programs operate during the school year and provide full day care during school holidays and closure days. Each campus has hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm.
Established in 1981, Marin Day Schools is a nonprofit organization that also provides early childhood education at two campuses in Mill Valley. It is part of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a provider of employer-sponsored child care and early education for more than 700 clients in the U.S., Europe and Canada.
The Tamalpais Valley School EDS program accommodates up to 56 students and is overseen by Vicky Shilzony.
