Over my 10 years in the field of tutoring, my number one goal has been to ensure that the students I work with are confident and believe in themselves. I try to inspire each student to let go of any fear of math in order to remove any mental blocks associated with mathematics. I focus on the root of the problem, fear of math, in addition to the math knowledge itself. I believe that encouragement yields excellence and improves grades! I have tutoring experience in a variety of math (basic arithmetic through calculus) and science (chemistry, physics, and physical) subjects at a variety of age levels.
