Carrie started here as a boarder and fell in love with all the amenities offered, including the beautiful Folsom lake riding trail system, the covered arena and large outdoor arenas. She started a riding school, HuntFields, in 1988 working under professional trainer Richard Sands from Australia. In 1992 she took over management and moved up in the training ranks when Richard returned to Australia. Improvements were made, more barns and a new arena were added and in 1997 the Orcutts purchased the facility. This life continues to be a labor of love for the Orcutts. They continue to offer quality care and services for all their horses and riders.
