Los Angeles Trade Tech College, located in Los Angeles, was founded in 1925 as the Frank Wiggins Trade School. The college is one of the oldest of the nine public two-year colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District. It offers degrees in associate in arts, science, and vocational programs. The college also offers the Bridge to College Program that enables students to enroll in college while still in high school free of cost. The college is part of the more than 880-square-mile Los Angeles Community College District. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is approved under the regulations of the California State Department of Education.
