The Los Angeles Soccer Club (LASC) is a nonprofit soccer club located on Chandler Boulevard off of Tujunga. The organization has been around since 1951. It offers competitive soccer teams -- one for men over 30 and another for men over 40. Practices are scheduled for Thursday nights but vary from team to team, and there are monthly dues for each club member. The club does not have a specific home field. Instead, it uses fields at local elementary and middle schools for practices and local games. LASC teams participate in tournament competitions like the Las Vegas Friendship Tournament, the Las Vegas King Cup and the Santa Barbara Soccer Tournament, just to name a few.
