History
LA Master Chorale was founded in 1964 as an original resident company of the Music Center of Los Angeles County and performed in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. In 2003, LAMC became a founding resident company of Walt Disney Concert Hall, the fourth venue of the Music Center. We perform at Disney Concert Hall from October to June annually. We offer 3 educational outreach programs: Voices Within, the High School Choir Festival, and Chamber Singers concerts. These award-winning programs have served more than 200,000 students since 1989.
