Founded in 1986, LA Conservation Corps is a nonprofit organization that provides job skills training, education and work experience with an emphasis on conservation and service projects for young adults and school-aged youths. It offers young adult corps, high school diploma, after-school and early childhood education programs. The organization s Clean & Green program serves participants of ages 14 to 17 and provides paid training to more than 2,000 students every year from middle and high schools throughout Los Angeles. LA Conservation Corps provide a range of educational programs for students in pre-kindergarten through high school. It offers counseling services for identifying, addressing and resolving personal and interpersonal conflicts. The organization provides health education, habitat restoration, natural disaster preparation and response and tree planting programs. LA Conservation Corps maintains its administrative office in Los Angeles.
