History
The Living/Dying Project was founded by Stephen Levine and originally called the Hanuman Foundation Dying Project. Stephen was soon joined by Ram Dass and the Project's current Director Dale Borglum. Dale was the founder and Director of the Dying Center in Santa Fe, the first residential center for conscious dying in the Western world. In 1981, the Project moved back to California from Santa Fe and changed its name to the Living/Dying Project.
Specialties
The Living/Dying Project offers, free-of- charge, spiritual and emotional support for people with life-threatening illness and for those who care for them. As well, Dale Borglum facilitates on-going small groups called Healing at the Edge in Berkeley, Sebastopol, and Fairfax.
