History
Realizing that El Segundo still craved his delicious dishes, Jose started formulating a way to bring back home style Italian food when Anthony's shut down. Gathering his money, guts, and family, he opened up shop in 2005. Now three years later, his hard work has paid off. With the addition of his wife's traditional Guataman cuisine during lunch, you can taste a little bit of the everyday exotic. The restaurant is family owned and operated. We feel lucky to be in El Segundo. Jose worked and managed Anthony's Italian Restaurant for over 20 years. Steve and Evelyn graduated from El Segundo High in '01 and '07 respectively. We love this town! Open from 11 am to 9:30 pm, Little Gourmet's loyal fans keep coming and coming for more.
Specialties
Italian food. Jose has been feeding El Segundo for the last 23 years! Do you remember the Anthony's menu of days past? Well it's here at Little Gourmet! It's all about the sandwiches, pasta, burgers, pizza, and yumminess. Additionally, we now have a bit of Guatemalan flavor at lunch time. Ever since Jose's better half shared her food with customers, they've been asking for more and more. The dishes she makes on weekdays vary and are limited. If you want something new, ask her what her special is!
