Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes is a learning center dedicated to the improvement of literacy among children and adults. Its critically acclaimed programs are geared toward making students independent and self-correcting in reading, spelling, critical thinking and language expression. Each student receives an individualized instructional plan after taking a diagnostic test, which measures oral vocabulary, phonemic awareness, word recognition, math and other cognitive abilities.
Many students at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes have had a prior diagnosis or label in dyslexia, autism, PDD (Pervasive Development Disorder), Fragile X Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Sensory Integration Dysfunction or strokes.
Nanci Bell, M.A. and Patricia C. Lindamood, M.S., CCC-SLP, co-founders of Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, are educators who have each made advances in the fields of language and behavioral psychology, respectively. Their highly trained staff of varied backgrounds undergo extensive screenings that include both academic and aptitude components.
