HistoryAfter completing my certification and clinical hours in hypnotherapy at the HCH Institute, I began my private practice, Tranquility Hypnosis. With 40 years in the counseling and guidance fields, I decided to focus on helping people strive to be what they wanted to be by means of using their unconscious mind to attain self actualization or improvement. My focus began in the area of sports related issues, fascinating! Working with individuals on weight issues has been exciting because of the success my clients experience. Combining hypnotherapy and life coaching has enabled my clients to succeed. I teach clients how to reduce their anxiety and stress by means of EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. My clients learn self-hypnosis, and client receives a cd to listen to at home. The basis of my practice is for the client to help themselves with my guidance. The work cannot be done unless a client is the chief participant. Clients know inherently what they need, I provide guidance.SpecialtiesMy practice is Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. I incorporate both specialties in areas of weight loss, anxiety, stress, fears, anger issues, smoking cessation, Emotional Freedom Technique and sports performance, just to name a few. The use of hypnosis, or going into a trance state enables you to go to the deepest area of your mind, the unconscious mind where new beliefs begin and emerge so changes can happen. Clients learn to improve their lives and relationships by means of Life Coaching. Coaching is not advice giving, nor is it behavioral or cognitive therapy. By allowing the client to work on issues to empower themselves to obtain the most positive, effective and proactive ways of problem solving. LC is based on the deeply spiritual premise that we are all creative, resourceful and whole and have everything that we need to manifest our potential. Coaching is about discovering how the themes present in the roles adopted in daily life provide the backdrop to our greatness.
