Camphill Communities California is a nonprofit organization that provides a residential community for developmentally-disabled adults in California. Community members work to maintain 6 acres of gardens with flowers, herbs and vegetables, as well as an orchard and a vineyard. Additionally, community members maintain the two large residences and smaller homes on the Camphill Communities California property. Camphill Communities California also offers social therapy training through a four-year program, designed to help adults with developmental disabilities maintain spiritual, social and physical connections with their environment.
