Mr. Duarte has a strong legal background as he attended UCLA one of the top law schools in the United States. Prior to opening his own office Mr. Duarte worked at a leading law firm in the creditors rights division representing corporate clients such as Wells Fargo, Chase, and US Bank. After leaving the corporate law firm Mr. Duarte was admitted to the prestigious Academy of Justice litigation program with the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. The program was taught by some of the most respected attorney's in the LA City's office on topics such as DUI, gun & weapons possession, domestic violence, and prostitution. After the completion of the program Mr. Duarte was assigned to handle criminal jury trials on behalf of the LA City Attorney's office as a Pro Bono Deputy City Attorney. Mr. Duarte's experience having litigated cases from both the corporate and government prospective is a clear benefit to his clients as he is very familiar with their litigation tactics. Mr. Duarte is focused on providing criminal defense services to people throughout Southern California Mr. Duarte is licensed to practice in all state courts of California and the Federal Districts of Central, Northern, and Eastern California. He is a member of the California DUI lawyer's association member, Mexican American Bar Association member, UCLA Alumni Association. He is a past Trustee for the Mexican American Bar Association and current President Elect for the UCLA Southeast cities alumni association.
