SpecialtiesMy work is influenced by the vibrant line and sumptuous color of Japanese prints and by the delicacy or Persian miniature painting. In my drawing and paintings I apply traditional and contemporary media using unconventional techniques. The challenge is to create works that, while static on the wall (or screen), gain movement in the viewers mind. The work reflects my conviction that art is the explanation of that which exists in the breath between our words, the gaps between paragraphs, the margins around the text. There is so much to say and say and not enough words or images in all the world to get it right.
