History
Lic#376701381- Florence Lebreton and Thierry Pasquet, French native teachers, started what is today La Petite Ecole du Lycee Francais de San Diego in their house with a few kids. Soon their house was too small and La Petite Ecole moved to its second location in Clairemont in 2006. From 15 students, La Petite Ecole grew to 115 in less than 3 years (and is still growing). In fact, we are now in Serra Mesa on Aero Drive in a brand new location since 2018 and have over 200 students with 29 nationalities represented. With a continuing commitment to small classes, family values (politeness, respect and good manners) and a highly qualified team of 23 native French teachers, 5 french teaching assistant and 2 American teachers. La Petite Ecole offers a challenging curriculum from the world-renowned French Ministry of Education while exceeding Californian academic standards. Many new students have enrolled as the result of referrals from parents of La Petite Ecole.
